Hotel, Resort
& Hospitality Safety
Centrally manage multiple kitchens, boiler rooms, and laundry areas from a single controller. Meet large-scale hospitality gas safety requirements with the BB-455 modular multi-channel system.
Why the BB-455 is Ideal for Hotels & Resorts
A single gas detector cannot cover the complex zones of a large hospitality venue. The BB-455 accommodates up to 9 independent channels in one frame, integrating the entire building under a single controller.

Manage kitchens, boiler rooms, laundry areas, and common areas on each floor as independent channels in a single BB-455 frame (5-slot or 10-slot). Unlimited expansion by adding frames.
Automatically switches to the built-in Ni-Cd battery (DC 12V / 1,300mAh) the moment AC power is cut. Detection and alarm functions remain fully operational during outages.
Add optional controller modules (BC-530/540/550) to trigger solenoid shutoff valves simultaneously with an alarm. Safe even during unmanned late-night hours.
Compatible with existing BAS/BMS via the industry-standard 4–20mA input. Supports status signal connection to front desk monitoring systems.

Why Multi-Channel Detection is Essential for Hospitality Venues
Hotels and resorts operate multiple gas hazard zones simultaneously within a single building.
Multiple Gas Hazard Zones
Kitchens, boiler rooms, and laundry areas operate simultaneously. Without independent channel management per zone, you cannot identify which zone triggered the alarm — delaying initial response.
Guest Safety During Sleep
Sleeping guests cannot respond to a gas leak on their own. Centralized alarms integrated with automatic shutoff valves are essential for immediate response even late at night.
Mandatory Installation Requirements
Large hospitality facilities are legally required by the Fire Services Act and Urban Gas Business Act to have certified multi-channel detection systems with automatic shutoff capability. The BB-455 carries KC certification.
BB-455 Channel Placement Guide by Zone
Representative 8-channel configuration for a hotel or resort
The above 8-channel configuration can be implemented with a single BB-455-8C (10-slot frame + controller modules BC-530/540/550). For 9 or more channels, expand with a second frame.
Each channel operates alarms and shutoffs independently. An alarm in one zone does not affect the normal operation of other zones.
Connect the BB-455 relay output to the hotel BAS or fire receiver panel for real-time status monitoring at the front desk.
When controller modules are installed, the gas shutoff valve for the affected zone activates simultaneously with the alarm. Ensures safety during late-night and unmanned hours.
